Preplanning Your Final Arrangements: A Gift of Peace to Your Family
February 10, 2026 · Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery
We are people of the Resurrection. The care with which we bury our dead is an expression of our faith in the victory of Christ over everlasting death. Preplanning your final arrangements flows naturally from that faith — and it is one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give your family.
Why preplanning matters
When a death occurs, families are often asked to make many decisions in a short span of time, all while grieving. Preplanning lifts that burden. By making your wishes known in advance, you allow your loved ones to focus on prayer, remembrance, and the comforts of faith rather than logistics and difficult choices.
Dying, Christ destroyed our death. Rising, He restored our life. This is central to our faith. Jesus lives — and so will we through Him.
A gift to yourself, too
Preplanning is also a gift to yourself. It offers a quiet moment to reflect on God's mercy and grace, and a chance to affirm what you believe about life, death, and the hope of the resurrection. Many find deep peace in knowing their final resting place is chosen and prepared.

- Reserve a green, traditional, or cremation burial space.
- Select and design a monument that honors your faith and your story.
- Settle pricing in advance, with credit cards and financing accepted.
- Document your wishes so your family can carry them out with confidence.
