Our Lady of the Rosary is blessed to collaborate with gifted artists and craftspeople. These are a few of the custom sculptures, monuments, and memorials created for our families and gardens.
St. Teresa of Calcutta
June Doerr
After moving from Missouri to Texas in 1963, June chose to pursue her interests in the arts after leaving her nursing career. June used her own hands as inspiration for the sculpture of the St. Teresa piece commissioned by Our Lady.
St. John Paul II
Andrew Krawczyk
Andrew had an audience with the pope and became a life-long friend of St. John Paul II. To honor SJPII, Andrew had his artists design a full-size statue of the famous pope. When the marble statue was revealed, SJPII said, “Andrew, you made me look so handsome.”
Immaculate Conception
Mary “Polly” Brumder
Polly is Nick Brumder’s sister who has been sculpting all her adult life. The bronze Immaculate Conception was created by Polly in the New York School of Art and Design. A replica of the statue also stands in the lobby of the Austin Catholic Diocese office.

Cat Quintanilla
Cat pours her energy into creating unique, varied and meaningful art work using stone, marble and other mediums. She feels her mission has been accomplished when her art brings a smile to a person’s face.
Butterfly Sculpture, Red Granite
Alberto Saucedo
Alberto started studying art at age 17. He carved this eight-foot granite Butterfly Sculpture in 2007 when Our Lady of the Rosary commissioned the piece for the Butterfly Garden.
Resurrection Cross
Nick Brumder
Nick and wife, Ellen, are the owners of Our Lady. Nick is the cemetery artist specializing in iron work and monument design. Nick also makes the temporary crosses and does custom bronze work for families desiring special pieces for their deceased loved one.
Custom Bench, St. Francis Walk
Holly and Joseph Kincannon
A family team who designs and creates pieces from Lueders limestone. Custom benches can be seen along the path of the St. Francis Walk whose entrance is located across the road from the St. Francis Garden.

A. C. Button
A.C. is a 4th generation granite artisan and artist whose desire to carve was evident at age 6 when he purchased his first knife with his own money on his birthday.
Mosaic Art
Fr. Jairo Lopez
A Catholic priest, Fr. Lopez specializes in glass and stone mosaic commissions. The Tatro monument is in the St. Francis Garden south of the water fountain.

Steve Gilbert
Steve works for a fourth generation, family-owned business located in central Texas. Our Lady is blessed to be working with Steve who has 22 years of monument design experience.

Carla Diaz Frances
Carla is a professional stone carving atelier as well as an international sculptor. Her studio offers custom gravestone design, architectural works and other sculptural elements.

Jose De Los Santos
Jose established his business in 1995 with the primary focus on custom, laser engraving. Over time, new services evolved. Our Lady is pleased that Jose’s team engraves all orders for baby rocks and flat limestone markers.
